It Started With Experience. But It Didn't End There.
For more than 25 years, I have worked in construction. Working for other companies gave me the experience, confidence, and foundation I needed to do quality work. But along the way, I learned something that became even more important than the work itself:
Building trust requires building a relationship first.
Behind every customer is a home, someone's place of safety, their investment, and a part of what they've worked hard to build. Every project became an opportunity to serve someone well.
Over time, I began to understand that the work God was preparing me for was about more than roofing, repairs, or gutters.
It was about people.
This Wasn't Our Plan. It Was God's.
Stepping out on my own wasn't a dream I had been pursuing.
It was God-led.
When my wife and I both heard the Lord leading us in this direction, we knew with confidence that it was the right move and the right time.
We didn't have every detail figured out or know exactly where it would lead.
But we trusted the One who did.
And that's where Crossties began.
Why Crossties?
Because Everything We Do Is Tied to the Cross.
The name Crossties was given to us directly by the Lord. Even the “t” in Crossties is intentionally designed as a cross—a visual reminder of what this business is built upon.
We believe who we are and everything we do is tied to the Cross.
That changes the way we work. It changes the way we treat people. It changes what we believe our responsibility is when someone trusts us with their home.
Our faith isn't separate from our business. It is the foundation of it.
Because when everything we do is tied to the Cross, integrity isn't optional, respect isn't optional, honesty isn't optional.
They are part of who we are.
Our Purpose
Relationships First. Work With Purpose. God at the Center.
Our desire is about more than building a successful business.
We want to help people. We want to serve our customers well, build genuine relationships, and be people others can trust. We want our work to reflect the One we serve.
And ultimately, we pray that the relationships God allows us to build will create opportunities to share the hope and truth of the Gospel.

We didn't set out to build Crossties because we had everything figured out. We stepped out because we believed God was leading us.
So we will continue to do what He called us to do:
